Abstract |
|
This paper involves a case
study which has been carried out to know the effect
of e-quality control in Highway construction on the
tolerance limits of WMM and DBM. The existing
tolerance limits have been kept keeping in view the
normal system of quality control and permits higher
range of variations for acceptance. This study
involves the solution of a real life problem faced
by an engineer during the construction of a
highway. In this paper, we present a methodology
using e-quality control system and updated machinery
to see its effect on the tolerance limits of WMM and
DBM. To understand the methodology a field case
study is presented here.
