A survey on ethno Medicinal plants used in the
treatment of Skin Diseases in central Bastar of
Chhattisgarh State has been conducted during 2011 -
2012. The information on the utilization of the
Medicinal plants for above purpose were collected on
the basis of personal interviews with traditional
healers, Baidyas, Sirhas, tribal doctors, old women
of the village society in 10 villages of District
Bastar. The investigation revealed that 25 medicinal
plants belong to 18 families and 21 genera are used
in the treatment of Skin disease in district Bastar
of Chhattisgarh State.
